MIDGETS!!! MULLETS!!! MEXICANS!!! no, it's not a movie. i went to the grocery store. good lord! it's always an adventure at the ol' H.E.B. @ congress & oltorff! i'm tellin' ya, this was the greatest mullet i ever saw. my words can't describe its beauty. he had to be a boxer. that's the only explanation.
tomorrow is death by cattle and poultry. i'll surely be dead by dessert. well, just as long as i'm not paying for it. friday is the day! for the most part, i'm already running the store. just waitin' for that raise to kick in! maybe i'll just fire everybody and start from scratch. want a job?
my new creepers should be here any day. they are the ones with the coffins hidden in the soles! skull yes, i know i already have a pair like that. right now, i'm listening to BLONDIE "parallel lines". after that, i'm gonna listen to the COUNT BASIE box set i got today (of course it was free!). well, enough of this rambling. "don't leave me hangin' on the telePHONE!"

I think The Loft is now defunct. I haven't seen a show there since 2000. I spent my day driving all over Fairfax and other counties. I passed pretty near your old place.

Hey I am impressed you managed to quit drinking, been trying a few times but never really managed, although I did cut down a lot. I'm not exactly 20 something anymore either and don't have the same capacity of recuperation... frown

Musta been great to play with Johnny T eventhough yet it must have been quite demanding. I never saw him play and that's a shame but hey what can you do...

I knew about the Hanoi 4CD box set. It was only released in Finland, it's got bestof, solo efforts and rarities, etc... But I've got everything that's in there already so I never bought it. Do you know that a new Thunders DVD has recently been released? It's from one of his last gigs ever in Japan '91. A friend of mine has got it already and told me it was quite good (as opposed to the painful In cold Blood DVD).

Hanoi were great on Tuesday, very tight gig, much better than last year's UK tour. Scala was packed (to my surprise I must admit) and there were a lot of fresh faced kids in there. So maybe Rock'N'Roll is not dead after all smile met Andy again at the aftershow, cool talk and big party this week-end I believe! I'll take a few pics I'll probably post in my journal.
