Finally the madness is over...for about a week at least. FInished my physics on friday...a gas. I don't know if I'm passing that bad boy or not, but at least its over. Fuck Quantum Physics, and that's all I'm going to say about that.
The GRE, fuck that noise! They got this writing section now, which is frickin rediculous, how the fuck does one standardize writing? I hate writing and it shows/ed. You take the thing and it gives you to choices of topics to write a little ditty on. I got something on politics, which I fucking hate, and something on how technology governs social behavior. I was like what the fuck?!?! Long story short, I hate writing and ended up skipping the crap, which is bad.
Then I finally get to the meat of the test, the verbal and analytical sections. Verbal, once again, was a bunch of reading comprehension and word association poop. I struggled through that crap. Honestly, they give you these words you're suppose to recognize an analogy too, and then find two other words from a list that carry over a similar relationship. And, they take the most fuck off obscure terms. F'em. I smoked the fuck out of the math section though. That shit was hot...almost perfect...thank god, cause I bombed the fuck out of everything else. In the end, I think I'll get a grade fair enough to get into gradschool, just prolly not my top choices. I won't have to worry about that until I take this bitch over again in the fall though.
In other news, my bike came and was a total peice of crap. I got ripped, big time. The dude jipped me on packaging..the bike and parts were loose, resulting in shit getting fucked up bad. Parts were lots because of the cage match that ensued between the loose fork and frame. And...the dude sent me crappy shit instead of some of the stuff that was suppose to come in the auction. FUCK THAT GUY! I filed a complaint with paypal, who I hope will champion my request and fuck this guy up. Other than that, its out of my hands. Sucks, I was hoping to do some crazy riding with a bad ass downhill bike this weekend too. I couldn't even put the thing together it was so fucked up...stupid fucker.
So I get the rest of this week and half of the next to relax before the onslaught of the new semester. Nothing but beer and riding to let off some steam. If anybody out there has some suggestions for trail running other than Patapsco and Loch Raven in these parts give me a shout out!

Ariel Its funny, my instructor actually handed out a paper discussing how physicists actually cant agree on what Quantum actually is or means. Its kinda like the Smurf of the science world. Bunch of twats I say. This course is a general science requirement for Biology majors (i.e. Me), they have a calculus based physics course for smarter people. Which on a side not, is actually much fucking easier than non-calc physics because they dont have to teach you these long fuck off equations to work around the calculus instead of deriving anythingWhere was I going? Oh yeah, they should just drop the curriculum after optics, cause it all goes into theoretical stuffwhich I will never ever use as a non-physics major, and thusis a waste of my fucking time. Can you have pizza delivered? I can go on you knowIm like an inquisitive child (Please dont stab me!) As for meAs briefly noted above, I am majoring in Biological sciences. I plan on going to grad schoolhopefully fall of 06. This is my final year as an undergrad (Long friggin story, but I would be delighted to go into it upon request). I would like to pursue a PhD in neuroscience, oddly enough. I am especially interested in pathways involved in neurodegenerative disorders or physiological response mechanisms related to emotions. After grad school I will more than likely have to follow up with post doctoral work. This could take a few years. After that Ill try and get a meaty job in the industry to pay off my loans. This could also take a few years. Then I hope to wrap everything up in a nice cushy teaching job in the tropics somewheres. Thats the plan so far
