Today is another blank page...not the scary, angry white page, but more like a napkin that you end up doodling something really amazing on after dinner...so you keep it and tape it into your sketchbook because you can't duplicate it EVER again.

I hung with Skinny last night, and our friend Nicala... the restaurant that Nicala runs is really nice, and on a Monday there was nary a customer. I had two of the hugest glasses of shiraz I've ever seen... We talked about art, relationships, communication, breast reduction scars, tattoos (we've all got dedicated tattoo turf on our bods), parents, job stress... It has been so long since I've done anything so normal, it felt great. Just to be sitting across from Skinny at the table, smiling at eachother and reconnecting after a really difficult time... so great. I know a lot of men who think women sit around and talk about nothing for hours, but if the above topics are nothing, it's no wonder relationships wither.

Of course, we also talked about sex, fuck fests, our respective lesbian personal histories, and how sometimes Nicala wants to punch guys in the face after she kisses them. She's a regular old black widow, that one!
