I'm watching the mayhem that is the Golden Globe pre-shit interviews on E...well, sort of watching it with the eye in the back of my skull in between boob cruising, writing posts in people's journals, and eating tater tots. I never watch these shows, but after getting to know members here who participate loosely in the Hollywood scene, I'm vaguely interested in its events etiquette. I'm stunned at how well many people are handling Joan and her idiotic schmall talk. I'm also surprised at how safe everyone plays it wardrobe wise. I'm still basking in the glow of Adaptation from last night...I hope Spike Jones and his crew clean up, and SIX FEET UNDER! The only show worth watching on tv, besides Simpsons/Ren & Stimpy reruns. You know, after all these years, the only red carpet moments I remember are Rose McGowan's fishnet heaven and Bjork's amazing swan contraption... All the boring ass Harry Winston jewels and matching dyed satin strappy heels in the universe couldn't leave an impression on me if I got run over by a Mack truck carrying 85 tonnes of each. Could Selma Hayek and Ed Norton be any more amazing together? (especially since he helped write the Frida script for Selma's dream to bring her story to the silver screen...) Those two are definitely a dynamic duo...Good stuff. I can think of more dynamic duos out there...can you?
