Just finished watching the Lightning Bolt dvd "the power of salad & milkshakes" and if I didn't know it before, I know it now.

Lightning Bolt fucking owns me.

I don't think I've seen such a beautiful record of a band's work in a long time. One highlight for me was in New York when the drummer was going,

"I'm not from here. But that guy's from Rhode Island. And that guy's from Boston. And that guy lived in Boston..."

When a band knows their fans as well as the fans know them, that's just fucking beautiful.

I think it's the sexiest thing I've ever witnessed...
