I had an interview today with the DRE of the UU church closest to me. Starting in September, little ol' Red will be a Kindergarten teacher every Sunday. How cute! And the best form of birth control ever. Just enough 5 & 6 year olds for me to have a lot of fun without wanting one myself, haha. I am so excited. I've been wanting to get more involved with UUism as a whole, especially at this church, and have wanted to go back to working with children a little bit, so this is perfect. I am very excited.
Plus I have almost everything I need for Europe. Just putting the last things in place so that I am ready to leave. Man it's stressful. It'll be nice to be done and over there--even if I forget some stuff. At this point I'm just waiting and stressing.
Speaking of Europe, here is my blog for the trip: Red in Switz (EDIT: for some reason I put blogspot... and it's wordpress, because I HATE blogspot. The link works now)
I'll be updating throughout. Feel free to leave comments, but don't be a creep or say I'm cute or hot or anything similar in nature. My parents, extended family and coworkers will be reading this blog.
Gah, learning Swiss German isn't the easiest thing in the world.

When I was in high school taking German we spent a week on Switzel Deutsch. It is insane. So insane that most of the people gave up and decided to speak French when they went there.
I will be in Oslo, Copenhagen and Reykjavik this summer so that is awesome. When you go, just remember that they will be in Euro2008 hangover mode. Good luck I bookmarked your blog.
