As Heard On T.V. 3/21/2003
On the Fox satalite network. This quote was from the military expert, I think the guy was actually a Lt. or something else actually enlisted.
They have the actual live newsfeed comming from Iraq digitally, the camera guy in the back of (I'm guessing) a Hummer as part of a convoy. Eventually they show one of our tanks stopped in the sand, and our camera vehicle stops. We see the tank crew outside the vehicle and they open a hatch on the tank. (marked with a large #50)
Now our military expert chimes in, saying how the tank seems to be having some kind of mechanical problems (no shit!) possibly caused by heat (No!) or sand (Astounding!). Here's the best part. Our professional expert, with military training, goes on to say on a live national broadcast, how the tank crew is "gonna bang on it".
Billions in weapons, aparently 0 in high tech maintanence.
Our tax dollars at work.
