Ok, this science class is turning out to be a drag. Labs, discussions, quizes, an exam this weekend... Cell structure. Yeah, kinda difficult.
Thanks for all the kind words about Taffy and sharing your stories. She's doing much better today. I gave her a bath last night, and that always fires her up and puts her in a good mood. She tears around the house like a bat outta hell barking and bossing everyone and getting everything wet.
So Levi Leipheimer (US) won the Dauphine. Beat Hincapie. Damn, this years Tour is shaping up to be seriously kick-ass. Speaking of, I chatted with Comcast yesterday, and a cable dude is coming between 9-11am Saturday July 1, to install my new box. Oh! That sounds kindof dirty
And Jan looks to be on course for the TdF. Here's an excerpt of yesterdays Tour de Suisse stage:
A new lead group formed with eight men: David Canada, Koldo Gil (both Saunier Duval), Jan Ullrich, Linus Gerdemann (both T-Mobile), Paolo Bettini (Quick.Step), Frnk Schleck (CSC), Giampaolo Caruso, Jrg Jaksche (both Wrth) and Cadel Evans (Davitamon). Out of this group then emerged Gerdemann and Jaksche with 18 km to go, soon joined by Gil and Nick Nuyens (Quick.Step). These four made up the finale of the stage, all looking extremely focused. On the summit of the climb, their advantage was already more than half a minute - a clear sign that they were out for the win. The last part of the day was all downhill and flat, so they looked good."
Jan looks good!! And not fat!!
Ya know what I haven't done in a while? The Peloton Hottie of the Day. I present for your viewing pleasure Tom Boonen:
Belgian cyclists are the bomb, babies. Except for Axel. I never really dug him. But I don't dislike him. He seems nice enough, not a dick or a doper (I hope), and he and his wife settled in San Diego, so he obviously has taste. But it always struck me as a real bummer that his dad is The Cannibal. Damn, who could follow that? But, to give him his due, he never tried. He always rides his own race, and has had some success independent of his name. Didn't he win something in the olympics? So good on him.
Axel and the Great Man himself, Eddie:
Oh, and if any of you ever get into the stupid debate of who's greater, Eddie or Lance, it is always and forever Eddie. Forever. No contest. Ever.
EDIT: I just had a great run. It's a gorgeous day, a little humid but that's ok cuz it cleans the pores, almost hot, no clouds, crystal clear. Now I am late for work but I don't care. Have a good day!!

Bicycling would be a much more compelling sport for me if they all wore pads and wielded bats against each other.
Cell biology, its a breeze. but its a big subject, in fact a degree programme on its own. If you have any specific areas of confusion, just drop something in the comment box and I'll get back to you.
I find it funny tha your poor dog 'recovers' after a bath. Both of mine, old and young, would run a country mile to avoid a bath, gloat cruely at the other if she was getting a bath and look deeply sad, offended and resentful for the rest of the eveing after. that being said they can smell the river or the sea or any stagnant pond/creek/puddle from miles put the ears down , go deaf and make straight for it...
Wonder what it is about baths.
