Keep the beans in the fridge and grind it yerself. It makes a big difference to the flavour
I like Java. Strong and kinda nutty without getting too sour, but a good French roast works for me too.
Two expresso's on an empty stomach followed by a couple of hours on the bike will get the weight off pretty quickly after a pie fest.

depends on what you like....Capote is good. if you want something really hard try Oldboy (you've been warned). on th eother end of the spectrum try A Very Long Engagement. when all else fails, i go for Kurosawa. stay dry.

I thought Capote was really dull, didn't tell much about him, just focused on the time he was writing In Cold Blood, and i knew all that shit to start with. Shopgirl is good, Steve Martin is great. Whalerider rocks as well.

Ha! I had to laugh at the Nike thing. Their corporate headquarters are here in Portland and we have a love/hate relationship with them being here. As for me, I kind of go along with the youngster in the photo, but that's just me. Did they let him out of the sweatshop to pose for that photo?
