Happy Halloween, y'all 
In the spirit of the day, I have pictures of the pumpkins we carved last night. And ack, I'm even IN one of them
Here's Deanna, doing the dirty work but looking remarkably happy about it.
I lack the skills to carve anything other than triangles without a pattern
This is the worst part--outlining the pattern. This pumpkin wasn't yet carved when I left, so I don't know how it turned out, but I hear it looked pretty good
Ack, it's me! My glasses kept sliding down my nose, but my eyes were bothering me, so no contacts. I was too busy communing with the power pumpkin saw to care anyway. I don't ever want to carve another pumpkin without one of those, man!

A prayer to the god of time:
Please please please can you roll back the last 5 years for me? And if that's impossible, can I at least go back to last night? Because I'd like to fix one of two mistakes that I've made, and maybe one of us won't be hurt by the other. 5 years ago it was me hurting him. Today there is great potential for things to go the other way 'round.
