"Why are you slapping a monkey?" - Robin Williams in One Night at the Museum
Buried my friend today. Good Service. Made everyone feel good. Funeral home did a good job making my boy presentable. Im glad that's the image of him the family got to see.
Me and him bought this house together. So I guess i own it all now. Ironic, since we worked out a deal to buy out my share, so I could move to Albuquerque(or Phoenix, depending on the situation in the next few days) to marry Havilah . This means I havta sell it.
My other roommate (the brother of my friend) says he has no where else to go, so I want to offer the buyout(a relatively cheap price for buying a house) to his parents first. If they don't agree. I'll be forced to sell it outright to a "fast close" business (If ya'll have seen the signs "We Buy Ugly Houses" on the road) to have enough money to move, leaving my roommate in the lurch as to a place to live. Plus it might force the family to deal with all my friend's stuff before they are ready. I'm not really looking forward to that possibility.
I guess I can offer that if they can rent a storage box(the kind that a big truck drops off and takes away when finished), then I can store all his stuff in there and give them the key, giving them all the time they need to be ready, while allowing me to sell the house without obstruction.
As for myself. Im dealing. For all I know, I'm processing all this well. Though it's all possible that i'll fall apart in my 40s from repressed memories or some such. Took my girl to see my mom(I seem to have a high gluttony for familiar embarassment ). Havi has NEVER had "Shake and Bake" I was Astonished .. Anyways, lucky me that they like each other. Havi likes the fact that mom had me "trained", and mom likes the fact that havi bought me for a Brownie Pie from Village Inn (they call it Havi's "Dowry" ). Though it WAS a good pie
Thats it for now kids. later.
