Good news: I got a job on Friday...
Bad News: I lost it today. Total two days work. whoops

I applyed to a staffing firm about a position they advertised. It involved refurbishing video slot machines for re-use. I thought, "OKay i'll be working on them, cool. I can pick up some electronic mechanical experience." Nope. Turns out I was just an extra pair of hands to pick up this and move that. My primary function was to simply sweep up the work areas of everyone else until the floor boss comes up and says, "Come do this for me." Granted it keeps me busy for ten hours.

But thats all a moot point now. My roommate (who sleeps just across the hall from me) made a mention (not a complaint, mind you) that my alarm was loud enough to wake HIM up. So I swtiched it from LOUD to SOFT, and ending up oversleeping to the point where there wasnt any point in going in. I was so late that they more than likely made me a no-call, no-show, which counts as a voluntary quit in the Staffer's eyes. OH well..

Im thinking about being a Rental cop... night shift, guarding a warehouse or sumthing. Maybe. Ill figure sumthing out.
