you know what.... in my current state I cant think up a single damn better to write than just that quote.
OH WAIT I GOT SUMTHING!! The Passage of time is like that of the stages of water. The future is the gaseous state. You know its there, sometimes you can even see it.. but you cannot shape it to your whims or anyone elses. The Past is Solid, like Ice, and unable to be changed. It can, however, be broken down and the pieces that dont mesh are discarded and eventually forgotten about. Now the present, thats the fun one, it flows from one moment to the next, like a river or stream, with hard work, the waters hedy flow can be altered to suit our needs, meaning the present can be shaped as we see fit. Not only does each moment nourish us in some fashion, as if drinking your fill, but each place you take from the stream is altered in itself (handprints in the riverbank from the last time you drank, to say the least). Therefore, it can be said that the future is uncertain, the present is always changing, and the past is set.
