"ISN'T IT HOW IT IS?"
yes, very true.
so, for anyone paying attention, i'm now studying abroad in beautiful maastricht, netherlands. i got to town about a week ago and it's been an interesting time so far.
first, the town. maasticht is a great little college town in the southern most part of the netherlands. it has a really nice homey quality to it. think i'll like it here.
the people: the good the bad and so forth. there's a good variety of people, for people who really dont' drink much or anything like that, to total drunken asses. i've been trying to get along with everyone because it seems like the best idea. there is this one girl that is really cool and who i want to hang out more with, but i think she's been spending a lot of time with this one really cool tour guide we met. at the same time she's been totally ignoring me for the past few 4 or 5 days. my masculin instincts are telling me that she's fuckin' him, but that's only spectulation and suspicion.
i was able to meet a person who lived in maastricht from some friends who studied abroad last semester who invited me to a party where i met some really cool dutch people. i saw one of them last night at a bar and she told me about a party at a squat that i went to. it was nice, but weird since i didn't really know very many people, just a few who were with their real friends and were nice to me anyway. also checked out an indy club earlier. good music, nice staff. i was there alone and had a nice time just sitting there and writting. after a bunch of goth people showed up the music started fitting their taste and becoming less diverse.
i'm hoping to got to amsterdam within the next few weeks. also hoping to get to the SG gathering in paris.
that's all for now. i am drunk, and i am tired.

quenten:
No, I just made it up. I've never read "Johnny the Homocidal Maniac." Do his t-shirts change to express his mood, too?
