urgh...
i ended going home this weekend which was kinda... i don't know. it was nice to see my partents and my sister and my niece. she's starting to talk which is cool. i've very proud of the fact that she's learned to say "no mama." on the bad side, i had two people invite me to parties they were having. this gets me because any other time i have to go out of my way just to find out what people are doing on the weekends. last thuesday i ended up going to a coffee shop and talking to a girl from my anthro class that i'm kinda crushing on. it turned out good in the fact that she actually showed up and also that she was pretty cool. but now i'm at a weird point. i'd like to ask her out again, but i don't know if she has a signifacant other and just hasn't told me. also, she said she was really busy this week and had no free time. i'm not sure if what she really means is that she has no free time that she wants to devote to hanging out with me again or what. i'm also quite impatient and don't like things getting drawn out. to complicate things, there's someone else i like that i might call up later tonight and see what she is up to. and to make matters even worse, i'm probably studying abroad next semester, so at times i don't even see why i bother even trying to get into any kind of romantic entaglement.
good news though is i got to participate in my first drag show last night. i have uber fun to say the least. i dressed up in a sexy hot outfit and danced to 'lick it' by the dwarves and a cover of 'i want to be your dog' by swans. hopefully i'll get some pics up on this site soon. the one thing that did suck is that everyone who i invited didn't show up, which was about 10-15 people. i was a little disapointed that my roomate opted to play star oceans instead of coming to see me do at least one dance but whatever. it made me sad to say the least by the lack of friends there to support me. but some of my other friends showed up which helped. my friend also had his 21st birthday so i decided to keep my make up on and show up at his party. he liked it i think and it was nice to see him for a bit. by the time i left he was totally trashed out of his mind and getting a little baligerant, but he was having fun and it was his 21st after all.
not sure what i'm doing this weekend. i might end up going home again, as some friends are going back. we will see where the curvey path takes me.
