i bought an old school polaroid camera today. i love photography... love love love it. i don't get to do it nearly enough, and admittedly i've got tons to learn. i am a lover of film vs. digital... perhaps i'm a bit tradition... perhaps i'm just not up on the digital camera technologies... mostly i think i'm just cheap! i have an super fun & rad 35mm camera (canon EOS), that i picked up for $350 because no one wants to use film anymore! The digital version of the same camera was over $500 more.
hey... if anyone has some suggestions for my expiremental style, lemme know! i'd love to take another class, but i just don't have time. i take decent pictures, but i feel like there is so much more i could be learning.

But I miss the smell of the developing chemicals. Digital is fun too, I love the flexibility of Photoshop.
I'm not sure what to suggest you learn. Different processing techniques are a good starting point. It might be worth seeing if there's any classes that run covering that locally.
Jeff Buckley has been in my head for months. I can't get "Lover, You Should've Come Over" out of my head. Really, it won't stop. Such a beautiful song.
Thanks for all the comments, always glad to hear I'm not alone in my thinking, and you pretty much summed up everything I felt about the subject. Totally cool.
