i have a hard time keeping up with this journal, since i have another (online). and another (book).
i joined a gym recently, and i'm loving it. i've been taking the yoga classes, which have been both challenging and a lot of fun. i also used their sauna for the first time, and it made my skin feel very nice.
i'm taking a few days off because i haven 't taken any vacations, but i'm also trying to save money so i'm staying local...hikes in local parks and a trip to the zoo.
i recently went to a durham bulls game, so much fun! my dad is really into baseball, and i feel like i should get into it too. i've never been into doing stuff because of family (such as personal beiiefs, etc.) but i think it would be a fun thing to share. and he turns 50 tomorrow, so i'm probably on some level also thinking about his mortality and how i should appreciate time with family and not have regrets later on.
i'm not sure how else i plan to use my time off, probably reading and sketching and hopefully learning to use matt's very nice new camera.
we've broken up but are still living together. it's working out quite nicely, contrary to popular speculation. it's nice having him around because we really became best friends, but we are not for eachother so to speak. i plan to avoid drama by not getting involved with others until the lease is up.
not to sound desperate to move on or anything.
