Casting Ewan McGregor to play an Iggy Pop character in such a crap film overall (okay the clothes were ultra-fab, and Ewan and Christian did good jobs, as did Toni Colette, and Placebo did do a smashing job of 20th Century Boy, although, having practiced and played alot of that material, that is one track that is fairly hard for a band with any skill to fuck up) Anyway all that in such a crap film which of course I was forced to buy the DVD of was just mean of ol' Todd Haynes... Yep, Big Meaniehead he is... I know the film came out ages ago, but I just found my DVD of it which I've not seen in yonks, "Hey Todd! Way to go and make an otherwise rational and modest girl into a crazed sex fiend! Thanks a whole hell of a lot for your crap film filled with eye candy Todd! Ewan as Iggy? *swoons* Now that's just mean!"
