So, the first Urban Search and Rescue team that was sent to New Orleans came home! Yah! Nobody was hurt and they all came back in good spirits over the job they had done. They do have some horror stories though but of course I'll get to hear those much later on.
So far this year we have had 65 REPORTED cases of drownings and there has been 12 fatalities. Make sure to watch kids around any source of water. After swimming pools, bathtubs and five-gallon buckets are the leading causes of kids drowning in Arizona.
Well, in the past four weeks we have had five double homocides and four murders that are all believed to be tied together. I'm so glad that we are all able to co-exist without fucking eachother up.
A friend of mine was also shot three times last weekend. It is a case of wrongplace/wrongtime. He has a friend who runs a bar out here. That friend had to throw out two young, drunk, belligerent kids from the bar. They threatened to come back and kill him. These motherfucker decided to drive back to Tempe where they both live. One of the guys decides to take his father's assault rifle (the bullets pulled from the bar would fit an AK-47) and teach this guy a lesson. They drive back to the bar (the bar is also about 15 miles away from Tempe) and wait for this guy to come out of the bar. Well, my friend was with him. They open fire and my friend three times in the back and then they take off. they hit the guy they were shooting once in the head. My friend and this guy are both okay. The wounds that my friend survived were clean in-and-out. Nothing vital was hit. The one head shot this guy took was a close-but-no-cigar type of shot. They hit him in the head but due to the angle he was when they hit him the bullet bounced off of his head where, coincidentally, this guy has a metal fixture in his head from an accident he had while working construction. I think we can count them both as very, very fucking lucky. The other two guys are fortunately, not as lucky. Or maybe they are just a couple of fucktards. They payed their bartab with a debit card. Needless to say they have both been picked up already.

Perhaps Friday? I don't work until 3 on Saturday. I get off around 8. But I have to find someone who knows someone in charge because I have no money to get in. Maybe we should just do HP again
