Wow...I am seriously drunk right now so please exuse any errosros in my syntax as I have neither the brainpower not inclination to correct myself. After three bottles of wine I feel that I am fairly inebriated and am in a state of mind to add journal entry without rambling on. I just watched Back to Future I,II,and III and feel a kinship to Marty mcFly. I think it might be the alcohol talking but who and what. Anyways I think that the underlying tone to Back to the Future is way deeper than many of us might see. I know as a child I viewed these as mere action movies that were cool because Alex P. Keaton was saying such naughty words as "shit" and "damn". After watching the movies tonight (especially in my current staet) I feel that they hold a much deeper truth. Somthing that expounds upon my earlier observations of lfe in general. We each make our destiny and sometimes we may break free the bonds with which we were dealt but ultimately we choose the path in which we foollow. We are all dealt a hand of cards (I know it's cliche but please follow me) that determines how we start out in life, but as most of us know, a game of poker is not decided in one hand. Many hands are plauyed before our ultimate outcome is met. I realize that I still have many hands to be played and many cards have not been dealt. Whether this means I will be a failed a musician or businessman is still undecided. I still have a lot of rounds left in me and should not give up so quickly. In fact, my hands have just started and even at 24 I have many decisions left that will determine my existence here in this world. Now if that means I wil never become a rockstar.....who knows. if I don;t become an entrepreneur is still undecided.. What id o know is that I'm not out of the game and i'm determined to win these next few hands. That I promise. And if you have not heard the new Postal Sevice cd do yourself a favor and pick it up..
