The weirdest feeling on earth is not knowing where one's family comes from. Well, at least half of one's family.
My sisters, my dad, and I are going to be going through my grandpa's stuff that he had accumulated over the past 83 years and see what we find about him and our family. He was adopted so I'm sure we're not going to find out our geneological last name. But I'd like to find something.
I talked about it with my dad for a while over breakfast (at 3am) the other night before he left for New York and I told him that sometimes I dwell over our geneology. He said he had done that for many yearsbut eventually he just came to the realization that we may never find out who we really are. He also said that he was pretty secure with the fact that this may very well be the last generation of Salazars to come from this particular gene pool. He was blessed with four daughter and one son.
He knows I don't plan on marrying anytime soon. He knows I don't want any kids anytime soon. When I'm ready I may pursue those options. I guess I'll be ready when the right person comes along.
Thanks to all who shared their support. I appreciate it. It was a rough week and you guys made it easier.

I guess I should have paid more attention to your journals. Sorry about your Grandpa, it's tough, I know. I lost mine just over a year ago. Stay up, homie.

Hey, have we met at an SGAZ event yet? Usually I'm pretty toasted and can't remember these things. Either way, I'm adding you to my friends list and thanks for the comment on my set!
