Wilco kicked fucking ass. Calexico was a kickass opener (ARIFUCKINGZONA, represent!!) but Wilco just blew away all of my expectations. Easily in my Top 5 concerts. I think they will go in this order:
1. Fishbone at Boston's (RIP) in Tempe, 1997
2. Wilco at The Marquee, 2004
3. Jimmy Eat World at the old Nita's Hideaway (RIP) in Tempe, 1999
4. Deftones at the new Nita's Hideaway (also RIP) in Phoenix, 2003
5. Vinyl For Todd's last show in some Fernando's parents living room because the venue bumped us for some punk bands, 2001. This technically doesn't count because I was onstage (well, in the kitchen) playing (to a nice crowd of 70 people, our biggest show) so I guess I will change it to Hepcat at Jackson's On Third (RIP--I think) in Phoenix, 1998.
An honorable mention will have to go to seeing Hum play at Edgefest in Burque, NM, 1995 or 96. It would have easily made the Top 5 if there were not so many fucking people there. It was ridonculous.

calvinbrookfield:
Nice. I especially dig the Hollies, "Bus Stop".
