One of my all-time favourite movies. The Martians are hermetically sealed in their spaceship, which is found buried deep in the clay under London, when a new Underground station is being constructed. When they are exposed to the 'filthy London air', they decay rapidly and disgustingly. It's a brilliant, clever movie, still chilling today.
