FALLEN FENCE
No road for days
Just land stretching out
Sun flickering in and out of view
The mountains lay shadows
Obscure shapes of the moon
In reflecting water I see it pass
Leaves for days
And trees for miles
Open arms for natures child
The mother calling
Her voice on the breeze
Interrupted by birds sweet whistling
The sun replaced
And the calm of nature fell laid sleeping
Her eyes close until tomorrow
No road for days
Just land stretching out
Sun flickering in and out of view
The mountains lay shadows
Obscure shapes of the moon
In reflecting water I see it pass
Leaves for days
And trees for miles
Open arms for natures child
The mother calling
Her voice on the breeze
Interrupted by birds sweet whistling
The sun replaced
And the calm of nature fell laid sleeping
Her eyes close until tomorrow
