SG is dead and I'm sad...
Okay, not the SG you think, it's Sir Graves. Specifically, Sir Graves Ghastly, a horror host I grew up watching as a kid. While the entertainment world grieves over the death of Jack Valenti, I'm saddened to hear the news of the death, at 94, of horror host Sir Graves. I grew up in Detroit watching the scaaaaaaaary antics of SG who introduced me to horror classics like Frankenstein, Dracula, the Wolfman and the Creature from the Black Lagoon. Anyway, he will always haunt my memories in a good way.
Sad and scared...
Sir Graves Ghastly (AKA Lawson Deming)
1913 - 2007
I too grew up in Detroit and Sir Graves was my favorite I even sent in drawing to him of vampires and other monsters. Sir Graves you will be missed. On the 3rd link below is the weirdest thing. they filmed a head upside down singing with a little face painted on the chin. As a child this fascinated me more than anything. it still fascinates me a bit, so weird. and boy there was a lot of drag in that show.
