Noise pollution.... I have thought about this alot lately, Because the apartment we are moving out of always has the noise of traffic and people. Which is worse right now as our building is being cleared out.
Plus I do alot of art shows that like to have bands play , but the music is always so loud that the peopel always seem to be yelling at each other to be heard. I can see loud music at a dance club or a show. where I can wear ear plugs if I need to, because talking to others is not the point of being there. But sit down bars and art openings should keep the sound down so that you don't have to yell at the person right next to you.
Noise is a big problem for me. I had my ears checked and was told that I have exceptionally good hearing. I have really sensative ears and loud trebble is physically painful to my ears. Also if there is alot of background noise I have a really big problem hearing people speak ( low voices are really hard to hear) so I tend to speak too loudly. And being blessed with a voice that carries can be very embarrising. I never know that I am talking too loud and later when I find that I was talking WAY too loud I feel really embarrassed.
I try to remember to speak softer than I think I should, but the fact of the matter is that I am loud and bubbly it part of who I am.
So my question to you my friends is, Do you have somthing about yourself that you don't necessarly like about yourself but need to come to terms with?
