I didn't think we had enough countryside to constitute a need for rangers? Bet the job is awesome though, I'm not sure what it actually entails since I only have what I've seen in films to go on and I'm pretty sure that's fairly removed from reality although it would be cool if you could track someone just by looking at some leaves on the ground.
I like your photo's squire, I think I have mixed feelings regarding zoo's in general, being able to see exotic animals upclose is good and educational but seeing them in a perspex box or whatever just seems wrong. Like somewhere near me has some meerkats and at first I though it was really good but then I realised they're stuck in this not very big tank for want of a better word and it just struck me as depressing how all these people saw it as normal, like that's where they're supposed to live.
