Last evening and into this morning was probably one of the best times I have had in recent memory.
The Atomiks played a full show for the first time in months, complete with the old drummer, Diesel Patriot, who is far better than the last gentleman. They played some new stuff and some really old stuff. I danced until I couldn't move and then danced even harder.
A friend of the band who I had not previously met was very complementary of me, going so far as to adives me to make myself an ico of fun and revelry in this town, as he felt I was perfectly suited for such an endeavor. As our conversation continued, he proved to be an insightful bloke and I think I will have to do my best to fulfill his request. His wife chided me for a bit as, in her words, I spent a good hour talking with him while a bunch of young ladies looked whistfully at me and finally wandered off into the night. I would feel a bit remorseful, but recent revelations and decisions have led me into a position of not really caring about things such as that and just enjoying myself. I think that was the exact reason for Blake's request to become a bastion.

Of course, now that my six month celibacy is coming to an end (Wednesday the 25th) this could not have come at a better time, in my estimation.
