Still no contact from Sadra. I guess I am going to have to accept that there is no possibility of reconciliation, in any manner, betwixt us. It is a bit more than slightly disheartening, but I am accepting it. I really miss her though, just having a nice lunch together in the park, talking about nothing in particular and dozing in the warm sunlight.
But such is the way of things and there is nothing besides apologize which I can do and that I have done.
Saturday with Sam was a great blast. We went hiking in the hills above Sun Valley with his little brother Dominick and another friend, John. We explored a few mining caves that he knew of and then journeyed through a drainage pipe that crosses underneath all five lanes of Sun Valley Blvd. I haven't done anything like that excursion in near fifteen years. It was much easier when I wasn't bent double inside the pipe, but it was still an experience.
I have no idea what we will do this upcoming weekend, but I am looking forward to it with great anticipation.
Otherwise, my weekend was spent catching up on my rest and schoolwork. Not very exciting. I had planned on going out Saturday night, but just could not find any motivation to do so.
On Sunday I did a bit of eBaying and now have a few Nips singles and a full LP in transit to me. My phonograph should be arriving in the next day or so and I can't wait for any of them.
The Guinness cake turned out amazing, though it did fall in the center a bit (a hazard of elevation baking). I am going to be making a second one shortly for a friend's birthday on thursday.
Now if you will excuse me, I have to get the final work done for the christening of our fourth station tonight.

Any chance I could help you promote the downfall of the Mega-Entertainment Industrial Complex?
I'll see you Thursday night at Rory's then.
And remember (if you don't have other pressing business, like saving the world from imminent destructions by aliens ) : Irish pub night Saturday at Napper Tandy's. That's Noel Foley's new bar, and it's next to Pinocchio's, on Moana just west of Kietzke. Festivities start at 7pm
