I just returned home from my first time out with Sam, my Little. It is amazing how rapidly two and a half hours passed us by. We spent about an hour racing slot cars, a first for both of us, and that was even more fun than I had hoped. Afterwards we went to the park to try and get a kite up, sadly the fickle winds decided that we would not have that enjoyment. Next weekend I think we will race go carts and possibly something else as well.
I am so glad that I made this decision, I had such a great time and Sam was ecstatic.

I woke up this morning at 9am with a decent hangover. I need to remember not to drink so heavily on a day when I don't eat. Last night I went to a friend's house warming. A small party, but wonderful. Greg and another gentleman, Paul, regaled us with their fine musicianship and we all sang to a wide variety of songs. I danced a bit and received the greatest compliment ever, doubly so because it came from a straight guy. I was told that I dance like James Brown, now how incredible is that. I don't necessarily agree, but heck it feels pretty fantastic to think someone does.
Later, Rory and his lovely fiance, Shi, showed up. I haven't seen her in months and Rory only once since the new year.

The reason I subjected myself to such an early rising was so that I could procure my NIN tickets the moment they went on sale. I have 8 tickets reserved and have no doubts about finding people to share them with.
