Right, feeling much better about that last post. I tend to beat myself up over nothing with frightening regularity.
Met up with Sadra yesterday after doing the color correction for BSD. I lent her and her mom some money so they could pay some bills. I know it's not the best thing for me to do, but I can't say know to anyone in need. And they are really in need.
I had planned on her just meeting me somewhere, but that didn't work out and she asked me if I could come over so as to help her clip her birds' wings and toenails. I get the job of holding the guys down so she can make the snips. After that I went with her to get some cash and some groceries. i was a bit surprised because she asked me to stay for dinner. I wasn't really planning on it, but had nothing else to do so I stayed.
Later did a bit of coaching with her when her mom got upset about her wanting to drive out to Fernley to see Skylar and his parents. Donna was terrified that something would happen on the road and Sadra felt like she wasn't allowed to go because of that. We worked things out and Sadra and I left around 6:30.
I took a bit of a nap and just relaxed for a while until walking over to the Satellite for yet another Atomiks show. The place was almost empty when I arrived, but filled up rapidly afterwards. It was a strange evening as a whole group of people I went to HS with were there. Only one of them recognized me, which is a pretty good thing as I didn't care for that crowd back then and have no real desire to see if I do now. Some other people I know showed up as well, including Aleif(sp?) and her french friend. I didn't talk to many people, but I wasn't intrigued by anyone in the crowd anyways.
Went out for breakfast with George and Willie and an old Atomik, Keith, and came home around 3:30am.
I just finished writing my paper for english and have a whole day of nothing ahead of me. I think I'm going back to Satellite later tonight, mainly because the show tonight is free.
I'm snuggling up with Dizzy right now and he's making kissing noises. So damn cute.

So you read Philip K, Dick? what's your favorite? I just finished the audio version of Galactic Pot Healer the other day in my car.
