It's on a cold, and somewhat wintery morning like this, that I like to reflect to this past warm summers when I took this shot of a baby elephant in the Philadelphia zoo. How I long for a warm day like that again...

You've made me think that perhaps I should make a trip to the zoo. I have a way of forgetting that it exists. But I'd like to go see hippos & rhinos. They're so amazing. Hmm... yeah, I'm sorry you have to endure cold weather. It's cold here, too, in the Emerald City, but not unbearable. Father is listening to Linda Ronstadt upstairs. Maddening. Really maddening!
