Of all my nicknames I find myself drawn and enjoy Cowboy the most. For when I think of the idea of a cowboy I find myself comparing it with my idea of myself.
Hes a strong man: look at the life he leads, out in all weathers. Hes an independent man, a free man. He is certainly skilled with his hands, and honest, to a point. He knows what expected of him, and takes keen pride in doing his work well. He lives a life full of adventure. Hes a brave man, willing and able to stand up for himself - the equalizer on his hip is proof of that. Hes peaceable enough, but best not to mess with him, dont you dare cross the line he has drawn. Theres always something a little shaded, a dark-sided, about a cowboy - something hes hiding. Does he have a secret? Dont we all? Above all he is a man that lives by a code, he always stood up for what he thought was right.
