*wanders around, wide eyed with innocence*
Sooooooo, This is London then, eh? What a lovely bunch of people live here!
I have already met the Wallet Inspector who works on Victoria train station. Such a nice fellow! Apparently, there are a lot of fake 20 notes in circulation and he offered to check to see if I had been given any in my change while I was here. Check this - he found FIVE of them in my wallet! Luckily, he tool the away for examination. Imagine my embarrassment if I had tried to spend those in a shop or hotel
Also, I have met a lovely young lady who offered to show me a good time while I was in town. I asked her if she could show me the way to a cinema; apparently it is called the Fkoff and it is down the road....
I am also learing the local lingo. I gather the word 'stopthief' means 'to run faster'. There was an old lady carrying her bag, which was clearly heavy because a nice man offered to help carry it for her. As he was walking away from her she shouted 'stopthief' and he began to run faster and faster. Bless him. I wonder if I can find someone to carry my bags for me?
I am currently in an internet cafe at Victoria Station waiting to go to somewhere in Kent and people keep looking over my shoulder at the pics of naked SGs. I'm sure they think I am some sort of deviant. Ooh ooh, speaking of which - I spent the flight over here in the company of the Jersey under-18 Netball Squad. It must be my birthday!! What a lovely bunch of athletic, firm young ladies they are too......
I'm offski in a mo to find a train to get to Kent so I shall bid you Good Weekend. Depending on things and stuff I will be coming back through London on either Monday or Tuesday. Anyone fancy meeting for a quick drinkie? Or does SGUK really not exist?
