You know when you buy something 'just in case'? When I first moved to Jersey I went food shopping 'just in case' I was ever in the position of requiring something light yet filling to snack on.
I am in that needy position at this moment - not hungry enough to wander down to a restaurant but just stomach-grumbley enough to need to pick at something.
I wonder if it is still appropriate to rely on the Marble Cake I purchased:

I think they once auctioned off some canned food they found which Scott of the Antarctic had left behind. Apparently one of the buyers opened it then and there and ate it.
