Well, how bizarre.
Last weekend I went to London and stumbled across my first ever SGUK meet, but then again you all know that already because I met you there. It's quite strange being faced with writing a journal entry for people who already know the punchline to my tales.
Neverteless, I shall tell you that I met up with Rainwolfkin (of course!), Slavewire and his non-member friend (who, incidentally, has a top top idea for a computer game. I wouldn't have mind bouncing a few more ideas off him but it's his idea and not mine..) and for the first time I met the Birthday Girl SnowballinHell. I have blamed her for the ass-grabbing incident, mainly because I prefer to believe my bum was grabbed by her as opposed to the tall, hairy trucker-type bloke stood behind me at the bar *shudders*.
Also, albeit fleetingly, I met Forkandles, Munch (seems like a decent chap), Creamygoodness, Bateman, LittleAardvark and then various other random people who I was introduced to and who's names I have forgotten already.
It's strange, though, meeting people in real life when you know all about them because of the powers of the media/internet, yet they haven't got the first clue as to who you are. Strange indeed.
Oh - British Rail sucks. It took me two and a half hours to get from Waterloo to Southampton *grumble*
