Wow. I can't believe how remarkably drunk I got yesterday.
I took some clients to the Rugby Club again. Usual thing - watch the rugby, free food, free bar, back in to town, more alcohol courtesy of my expenses account.....
Somewhere along the lines we managed to lose a few stragglers but the few remaining people (just the usual 3 of us) lasted the entire duration. We started off at 12:00 lunchtime and finished at 11:00 pm. Eleven solid hours of drinking.
Of course, I did the obligatory drunken texts at ridiculous hours of the night (I couldn't sleep) and I dare say some people will be miffed at me for doing so, but
to them. It seemed like a good idea at the time...
I am now going to slouch on my sofa and nurse the remains of my hangover.
