ROBOCOP. just saw it and really liked it....and really i dont wanna compare it to much with the old on. same concept but different approach. this one took itself alittle more serious and there was a stronger emotional vibe than the old one. i like that you could feel for the character more. the special effects were just about spot on, except with a few vehicle scenes. the characters were really good...actors playing them and gary Oldman was excellent. when is he not!!! the swede playing Murphy was also really good, nice to see him make it in Hollywood. the down factors for me was the shootouts. kinda boring and i almost just did not care since , allmost Always nowdays, the action was over the top and to (video game) absurd. shame really. overall, nice Movie/remake which did not make a fool of itself....and nice it did not just make a direct copy of the old with the same tone.
