So I was just thinking that it's been just a little over a year since I cut all my hair off. Since I went from hair down to my tailbone to a lot less work and heat in the summer. So here's to the anniversary that was probably less than a month ago, though I don't remember for sure.
It's definitely much nicer in the summer, and so very much less work. Who wants to work that hard for no reason, really? What on earth is the point of having hair like that? I'm glad I had it but that time is over, I don't believe I'll ever let it grow any longer than it is right now. Not to mention I was really sick, tired, bothered, and annoyed by the fact that the only reason any girl ever noticed or complimented me was because of my hair. Now that it's gone and girls no longer notice me I'm extremely glad of it. I understand that a lot of girls really like and appreciate a guy that understands what it's like to have and take care of long hair because most men don't appreciate it, but still, this did hurt the self confidence that I already didn't have. My phantom hair has long since subsided and I'm quite used to it being short, even though everyone who remembers it still pesters me with their complaints of, "it was so beautiful", "what happened to your great hair?" And, "when are you going to grow it back?" I'm not.
