Well I have nothing to say as usual. Because my life is boring and uneventful. I think I might actually be the male "crazy cat lady". I have four cats, and none of them will drink out of a water dish. No, they'd prefer to lick all the faucets in the house, or if a drink glass or can sweats they'll just lick the side of it. So yesterday I went out and bought them a Cat-It Fountain, which is like a dome that flows all the way around with filtered water. So it's like running water, which I figured they'd absolutely love. Of course they don't seem to be taking to it. They've all taken a couple licks from it at one time or another, but they don't seem to be jumping for joy. I'm worried they're going to dehydrate. I guess we'll see. They must be getting enough water from somewhere... probably the bathtub.
Edit: Also, I would like to mention that I've had some sort of cricket infestation recently. Somehow a male got into my ceiling and his nightly mating call has brought countless females in my house. I could only ever hope to be as big a pimp/female magnet/ladies man, as he is. I mean, it's ridiculous. I'm going to have to go buy some poison or something. Either that or put snakes in my ceiling. It'll be the newest blockbuster, Snakes in a Ceiling. I'M TIRED OF THESE MOTHER FUCKIN' CRICKETS, IN THIS MOTHER FUCKIN' CEILING! Alright, anyway, back to the point. My cat Samson, being the huge alpha-male of the family hunts bugs constantly. Even when he's sleeping he's in one of his hunting spots, with one eye open. As I type this I can see him laying on my bed on the other side of the room staring over the side looking for crickets. This wouldn't be so bad, except when he find them and roughs them up, he seems to eat the rest and leaves the big cricket legs lying all over the place.
Edit 2: My smaller male cat just wandered into my room and came up to me, which he never does. He's usually afraid of me and he never comes into my bedroom unless he's following someone else. So I patted him and wondered why on earth he was here. Then I went out and looked around the house and realized the three other cats had went up to the attic and deserted him, so he was lonely and looking for a friend. I felt bad for him so I played with him, stroked him for a while, and told him I know how he feels. And I know he was really lonely because he never comes up to me, being a big scaredy cat.
