Thank you to all who wished my arm well.
It of course doesn't really hurt, it's just annoying. And it's melded with some finger nail scars to make hooks on my arm. I should use some Neosporin to help the scars.
Anyway, the events in my life lately haven't been all that great, but then they never are. I was just having an especially bad day that day, so I was more upset then I might have been otherwise.
Most recently my credit card company noticed a rather large purchase I made on-line, and well fuck, just figured it couldn't have possibly been me. So they canceled the order and canceled my credit card account. Now don't get me wrong, I'm glad they're on the fucking ball with all this fraud and identity theft going on, but the only trouble is that I MADE THE ORDER! So anyway, I gave them a little ring-ting-ting-ting-ting-a-ling, and they made me respond to a number of asinine questions, such as how old my father is, and what counties I've lived in. I'm just glad the person actually spoke English, which customer service reps usually don't. So basically she said my account was active again and that I could make the order and it would be fine, but I don't know, it looks like the original order is still on my card and I'm worried that the new order will overdraft me. If it does it's their fault and I'm going to have words with WaMu.
We won't go into any of my other downer expositions.
Uhh, the Mary portrait I'm working on is mostly done... just haven't gotten the hair right. Possibly as soon as I'm done with that I'll try an Ember portrait.
Oh, it's also Ian Lancaster Fleming's birthday, at least for a few more minutes.
Happy Birthday Ian, R.I.P.
