Last night was spaghetti sauce night. I browned the meat with some garlic and oil (6.5 lbs x 2) first:

then, when all the meat was brown and pressed, it was time to assemble the sauce in the 16 quart pot:

The saucepot simmered on the stove for five hours, then went into the oven for another eight hours at around 220, then came out to cool down for a few minutes before it was placed into containers:

then into the refrigerator for a while till it's cool enough to freeze. Should feed us for a couple of months...
