Spring break - my sixth grader's home for eleven days straight. He's really loud. Hard to think, hard to write, hard to do anything when he's home all day every day. Might take a road trip down to San Diego or up to Pismo Beach over the weekend with him. Exciting stuff; might be attaching an actor to a black comedy I'm trying to package. Got a director, with an actor maybe we'll start getting close. Great lead role for a gal, with a good secondary part. Want at least one of them to be an SG -- there's gotta be some actresses here -- you can't all be artists or baristas! Joke - I know there are a million different survival/professional modes here ... but there's definitely gotta be some actresses here! There's a club in the movie; the director is obsessed with SGs, maybe temporarily for the wrong reasons, wants all the girl patrons to be SGs. I have to say that after a year plus here I have found that the pictures are sometimes really great and interesting but the personalities of various people here have really started to clarify for me once i started reading some groups, reading some blogs, started to kind of feel slightly at home. Really nice when someone besides me is requesting a friendship, theoretically the first step in getting to actually know someone here beyond the erectionlust. Better yet, the real world interactions with some of the players here over at the mainstream Facebook make these little baby contacts even more dimensional. Please, please, let the funding happen!
