I've been away, far far away, but now that I am off the back of my little fast torture rack I can update you fine folks on the changes that have taken place.
No longer am I in Salt Lake City. I up and decided it was time for a change so I got on the back of my little CBR Sport Bike and wheelied off into the sun set, and into the rain, and across mountains and parries and managed to ride all the way to North Carolina in four days.
Along the way I got to be pretty good pals with a gay cop from Washington that was riding to Georgia on his BMW. It was nice swapping bikes from time to time and even nicer seeing the century mark on his full dress Bemer. I don't think that motorcycle had seen numbers that big in it's lifetime.
I did learn something about my bike...... At 130 MPH my bike gets about 8 miles to the gallon. So I can burn an entire tank of gas in about 40 miles, or 15 minutes...... oops
I linked the secondary roads together all the way across the country. I spent maybe two hours on highways total. Probably a new personal best.
I'm damn glad to be in Asheville and looking forward to great times with all of you great NC folks! Fun times head!!!
