so i decided i needed a new profile pic. you know how you love something or think it's just hi-larious for a while, then not so much any more?

sure you do.

now i'm a hot chick. feels pretty good i have to admit wink

i've also decided to keep up my loosely planned interstate excursions. sure they find me driving on a dark highway at the ass crack of dawn but damn it that is the kind of sacrifice you make for the good people you meet. friends and family--that is what it is all about, in case you were wondering.

i want to travel and be free. i inch ever closer as each day passes. well at least i'll be free and easy for about 3 months out of the year. a lot more than most can claim. plus i'll be involved in what i like to call the people's work. it's a catch-all category of employment that pays little green but is valuable, necessary and respectable. it's the people's work.

Wasn't so much raising ire, just a stupid fucking comment that I had to call out. So you say you're in Vegas but you're not? I'm not clear on that one. My point is it's easy for the in-town person to bitch at everyone else for not making a weeknight event in another city/state, since that person's not doing much traveling. If it's a general kidding around thing, that's usually done with people who are already good friends or there's plenty of signals to the effect that you're kidding. Either way, a road trip will occur at some point. I just hope that SGVegas represents, I think the history has been that the group doesn't come together much...

The car thing will hopefully get resolved in the next day or two. Thanks
