Hell another update, seems hard to believe, Yesterday was my day off and I did exactly that took the day off. Took the chopper out and headed for the Magaliesberg Mountains, cold, alone with nothing but blue sky and the open road, what a blast.
This is the new project I've begun designing, it's a slight modification of a Suzuki SV 1000
What do you guys think???
I'm off to the Gym to o a spin class and shed some weight, later
The challenge was to build something like this Confederate Motorcycles "Hellcat", using what is cost effective and available in South Africa.
There is obviously alot more to the design that meets the eye for example the rear wheel will be covered as the Hellcat is and the foot peg position will need to be altered and set forward. We have been toying with making the exhaust pipes meet jsut behind the seat in a 2 into 1 and the have it follow the line of the rear fender, obviosly giving it enough play so the the suspension is still working and doesn't slam into the pipe.
Pretty interesting as a concept, we are now looking for the funds to build it. The not so much fun part.
