One of the things I love about living the ex-pat life is that my friends from back in England sometimes drop by to spend some time with me and I get the chance to show them the local food, culture, sights, etc.
Last week, I had four of my very best mates stop by in Lisbon for a whole week but, because I work a bit of an odd schedule and, as a teacher, can't take holidays when I want to, it meant that I was doing tour guiding in the morning and afternoon, working in the evening and then eating/drinking with the guys til the early hours every day for a week. As a 36 year old, that's hard work! This week, I have a nice plan of getting back to my regular exercise routine and, otherwise, chilling out a fair bit! ;)
Nonetheless, it was such a great time and they fell in love with Lisboa. Personally, I think it's pretty hard not to fall in love with this place.
