Sunday, sunday, SUNDAY!! (in my best monster truck ad voice) I like sundays becasue they define mellow to me. almost everyone "takes it easy" on sundays. I especially like sunday's becasue the lead in is usually a kick ass saturday night! Well speak of the devil i had a cool saturday night traveling with the band (www.calledtoruin.com) to a show about an hour out of town in good ole concord. The guys played a nice set minus a few flubs here and there, but no one noticed. The crowd was a little boring but at least paid attention to them and clapped and yelled after each song. But all in all for show #4 it's showing spectacular progress for them. the sound guy told me they were one of the best bands he had play at the club and he didnt believe me that they had only been playing together since november. That's always a cool thing.

I spent a couple hours with the engineer and owner of the studio we are recoding in swapping some songs back and forth. i got to hear some more of his material and he got to finally here some shitty rough samples of the band. Needless to say he seems to be even more stoked to be workin with us after he heard the songs.I think this project is really going to be a life/career changin event for everyone involved and I'm looking forward to putting my heart and soul into this CD. The only way you can win big is to lay it ALL out on the line. wish us luck.
