So call me crazy, but days from my 34th birthday I sign up to begin Mixed Martial Arts (MMA/UFC) classes at one of the top training centers in the world. It happens to be like 10 minutes from my house and I've always been a huge Ultimate fighting fan, so what the fuck, why not?
I'll be training 3 nights a week with a great trainer and with a few Top tier MMA fighters around. I'm sure I'm going to go hme in a lot of pain for quite a while. But, turning 34 I feel I need to take my physical fitness up a notch in life if I wanna be around another 34 more. I'm eating better and also eating extra protiens which helps increase musle mass and body leaness. The diet is not as bad as I thought, and I can eat "regular food" a couple times a day.
So the promise I made to myself, sorta like a birthday resolution; is that by 35 I want to have or scheduled to compete in my first amatuer MMA match.
Who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks? boy they better be fuckin wrong.
