I'm reading this book:Its alright. I like it.
I was up in Portland for the 1st time in a year over the holidays. It was fun. Got to see some good friends. Got to hang out with them at some of my favorite places in PDX. Made some new friends. Making new friends doesn't happen with the same frequency as it did on the grammar school playground anymore. I didn't expect it.
One of the highlights of my trip was hanging out with my little 4yo nephew. The kid's articulate, assertive, and smart. For example, it snowed one day and we were out building a little snowman. My nephew, a single child used to getting his own way was being a little too assertive. I said,"Wait a minute, Mr.Bossy Pants!" to which he responded, without missing a beat, " You wait a minute, Mr.Underpants." I had to wait a minute.
Ever listen to this guy:
Tariq Nasheed?
I don't completely agree with him, but shit, he's fuckin' funny.
